a very nice work with the intricated roots and an impressing dephtness effect. There is obviously a lot of work on the layout. In my opinion the plants at not integrated enough to hardscape and that impact the overall natural feeling. I also think that the surface reflection, while pretty, darkens to much your image leaving an unconfortable feeling… It remains a high level aquascape, congratulations.

The whole composition, especially the arrangement of driftwoods is nice. But too few plants. This is the only and biggest drawback, of this layout.

Certainly a great layout. Good perspective and a lot of details. The shadows are strong too. This style of layout generally causes very good impression, but is necessary to take care about don't show too much information. In this work, because of the same color and tonality of the rocks and driftwoods, we have a confuse sensation. It's dificult to define what is stone and what is wood.
In the skyline, I don't like the three dark points who touch the water surface. They break the harmony and fluidity of the open space and they draw our attention. These points will disapear if the water level would be lower. Just one more detail: Take care with the straigh line in the front of layout. It is monoton and take out the perspective and depth of the layout. But without any doubt, what a beautiful job! Congrats.

Great proportion, great depth, great atmosphere!
    this is a great layout!
However, i believe that lower down the water level another 1-2 inches will make the layout more complete! currently the few woods near water surface that is standing up - they are not very useful in this layout, so if we lower down the water level to make these few wood disappear, i believe the layout will look better!

i see a lot of plants being used, but i still have a feeling that the plant volume is not enough, perhaps a little bit more plant will make this layout look more matured.

Photo is a little too dark.
